Trauma

It Stops with Me Trauma is real.

It wounds deeply and quietly shapes how we see ourselves, how we love, and how we respond to life. When left unhealed, it plants seeds of shame, fear, and self-doubt. But trauma does not have the final word; God does. The enemy wants wounds to become cycles, and cycles to become generations. But through Christ, we have the authority to break unhealthy patterns. Scripture reminds us in Luke 10:19 that we have authority over the enemy's power. That means what hurt you does not have to define you. What was passed down can stop with you. Shame whispers, “You’re not enough.”

But God says in Isaiah 54:4, “Do not fear; you will not live in shame.” There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ. Jesus endured the shame of the cross so we wouldn’t have to carry it (Hebrews12:2). Healing begins when we bring our brokenness to God. When we surrender the pain, forgive others, and even forgive ourselves, we break cycles. Today can be the day you say, “It stops with me.” The Lord is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone. You are not defined by your trauma. Your identity is defined by Christ.

I pray this encourages you today!
