Ephesians 4:16: “From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.”
The Apostle Paul reminds us that the church is like a body. Christ is the head, and every believer is a part that helps the body grow. No role is insignificant. Every person, every act of service, every prayer, and every gift contributes to the church's health and strength. As we reflect on our first year as a church, we recognize that our growth has come from Christ. Over this past year, God has brought people together to pray, serve, give, and worship. Each person doing their part has helped build and strengthen Freedom Chapel! This anniversary is not simply a date on the calendar. It celebrates God’s faithfulness. He has sustained us, guided us, and allowed us to see lives touched and a community served. Scripture reminds us in Philippians 1:6 that “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.” What God has started, He will continue. As we move forward, let us remain faithful in the role God has given us. When each of us serves with love and keeps Christ at the center, the church will continue to grow and be built up in love.
Lord, thank You for Your faithfulness. Thank You for allowing us to be part of Your body and Your work. Help us to continue serving with willing hearts so that Your church may grow and bring glory to Your name. Amen.
