Built To Lead

1 Corinthians 16:13-14 "Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love."

Leadership in God's Kingdom has never been about power; it has always been about responsibility.

The world tells men to pursue success, status, and strength, but God calls men to pursue faithfulness, integrity, courage, and love. A godly father isn't simply someone who provides financially; he provides spiritually. He doesn't just protect from physical danger; he guards the hearts of those entrusted to him.

Paul's words remind us that a godly man is watchful, paying attention to what influences his home. He stands firm, refusing to compromise his faith even when cultural pressures press on him. He is strong, not because he never struggles, but because his strength comes from the Lord. And above all, he leads with love.

Children may forget many of the words we speak, but they rarely forget the example we set. They are watching how we respond to pressure, how we treat others, how we pray, how we forgive, and how we love.

The good news is that none of us has to be a perfect father. We simply need to point our families to the perfect Father. God's grace covers our failures, restores broken relationships, and gives us the strength to lead again.

Today, ask yourself: Am I leading my family closer to Christ by my example?
