What are you protecting? Part 3
Ephesians 6:10 “Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.”
Every day we step into a world filled with distractions, pressures, and spiritual challenges. Some battles are loud and obvious; others are silent and internal. But God never intended for us to face them alone or unprotected. Paul reminds us that our strength doesn’t come from our willpower—it comes from the Lord.
That is why God provides us with His armor. The belt of truth steadies us when lies try to pull us off course. The breastplate of righteousness guards our hearts from guilt and shame. The shoes of peace keep us steady when life feels shaky. The shield of Faith protects us from the “flaming arrows” of doubt, fear, and temptation. Trust in God’s promises even when under attack. The helmet of salvation protects our thoughts and identity. And the sword of the Spirit gives us the power to speak and stand on God’s Word.
The only offensive weapon. Scripture is powerful; it cuts through lies and strengthens your defense. Use God’s Word to speak truth, resist temptation, and fight spiritually over your life this week!
Church, don’t fear the battle, but stand firm, fully equipped and confident in God’s strength, not our own. The armor isn’t just protection; it’s empowerment to live out our faith, knowing God protects us, knowing boundaries protect us, and knowing the importance of putting on the full armor of God as we battle unseen forces trying to disrupt our walk and relationship in Christ.
Today, before rushing into the demands ahead, pause and clothe yourself in God’s armor. Ask Him to steady your mind, protect your heart, and fill you with faith. The battle may be real, but so is His power working in you.
Put on the full armor of God this week Freedom Family!
